Black Smokey Eye

Use A Good Base
Add either a concealer or an eyeshadow base on top of the eyelid. Make tapping motions and spread the product evenly. A good base will guarantee longevity and will prevent your shadow from cracking throughout the day.
Dark Matte Black
Add a dark matte black shadow on top the lid. Use a flat synthetic brush and tap the product only on the eyelid. Don’t swipe it around nor move too much so it sticks perfectly.
Smudge It Out With Brown
Use a round and fluffy eye shadow brush and add a bit of brown to the top. You can use dark brown or chocolate brown to soften out the edges from your black shadow. Make soft blending motions all the way up to your brow bone.
Add Lashes & Mascara
If you know how to apply falsies go for it! If not just stick to your favorite volumizing mascara. This step is crucial since your eyes will demand even more volume and definition, and mascara can tie the whole look!
Add Black To The Waterline
Lastly, finish your makeup by adding a black kohl pencil into the waterline. You can also use a black cream-gel liner and apply it with a small angled brush. Make tapping motions and make sure your eyes don’t water when you do this step.
